Have you ever been hungry? I mean really hungry? Been down on your luck, out of work, no hope of something better in sight? If you have, then you may have empathy for the thousands of people who come to the SSIP Emergency Food Closet each month. People from many races and countries, sometimes speaking different languages come seeking assistance with meeting the basic food needs for themselves and their family.
