How we operate

We are a walk-up food bank. We do not offer a drive-through or delivery service.

Our clients receive pre-bagged food. To receive your food boxes, please bring a picture ID and know the names and birthdates of those living with you.

We are open Monday to Friday 9 am to 11:30 am

We are closed on the following dates:

• 1/1/2024 (Mon.) - New Year’s Day

• 1/15/24 (Mon.) – Martin Luther King Jr. Day

• 2/19/24 (Mon.) – Presidents’ Day

• 5/27/24 (Mon.) – Memorial Day

Impact Stories

Although SSIP feeds over 9,000 people every month, we do not see our clients as statistics. Each person has their own story and we are grateful to be able to provide care for each and every one of our clients.

From Client to Volunteer: The Klimashenko Family

When Luba Klimashenko first moved to America in 1996, she was struggling as a new immigrant and SSIP gave her the support her family needed. She fondly remembers what it was like to receive help from kind strangers for her family of six.

Today, Luba and her two eldest children deliver food from SSIP to families in need. Along with her daughter, 18, and son, 17, they are passing forward their gratitude by delivering food to those in need.
