SSIP Food Closet is here for all who are in need.  Our emergency food distribution helps to alleviate food insecurity for Sacramento Residents. 

During 2024 we served over 83,000 households while assisting 234,031 individuals. 

Receiving assistance

Our distribution is a simple process that allows our guests to register and receive food in a short amount of time.  When you enter or check in, you’ll be be asked to provide details about themselves and family members.  A form of ID is suggested to ease the check in. Once you have checked in you will move towards our distribution building where you will receive your foods items.

Hours of operation

Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 11:30 am

Please note we take a ten minute break at 10:00 am
